The ATO Superannuation Standard Choice Form and associated web content have been updated.
Key changes include:
- digitally fillable and interactive form with simpler pathways
- provides clearer guidance on what happens if an individual does not complete the choice form, in light of the stapled super fund reforms
- uses more plain english terms, reduces acronym use and streamlines amount of informational content
- removes non-compulsory fields such as fund address and phone number fields.
The old forms can still be used,however, the new form is much clearer and easier to complete.
We recommend using the online version (see here) so that you know that you are providing your staff with the most up to date version.
