From 31 July 2023 any 'old reports' in Xero will be retired.
What are new and old reports?
over the last 3-4 years Xero has been improving the format and functionality of its reports. Since this time Xero has been running two versions of reports - 'Old reports' and 'New reports'
For example, there’s an old version of the Account Transactions report, and a new version. If you're using an old report, and a newer version is available, you'll see a message at the top of the screen prompting you to switch to the new report. You'll also start to see messages (like the one below) on the reports menu
What you need to do
If you haven’t made the switch to new reports, we urge you to start using them now, so you have plenty of time to get used to them before the old versions are retired.
To find our reports, click the Accounting menu in Xero, then select Reports. On the Reports screen, you can access and browse all our reports.
From 31 July 2023:
- You won’t be able to run our old reports
- Any saved drafts of old reports will be removed from Xero
- You’ll have read-only access to old published and archived reports
